Daisy Lewellyn from the Bravo TVs Blood, Sweat, and Heels
I'll openly admit I watch a lot of "reality" TV. Like makeup, it's one of my guilty pleasures. Blood, Sweat, and Heels was of the shows I would watch. So, I was heartbroken to learn that one of it's stars, Daisy Lewellyn had passed away of cancer.
Daisy was my favorite person to watch on the show. She seemed so bubbly and she was making her dreams come true in a city where it's very hard to do so. She just had a personality of someone who I could see myself being friends with, she just seem like a real girl's girl.
She was only 36 years old. That's so young. It just seems like she had so much more she could have achieved. She handle her illness with grace ad that's something I really admired about her.
Cancer is something that has unfortunately had an impact of my life in recent months. A month and half after my miscarriage, a very close family member was diagnosed with cancer.
This is the first time I'm revealing this public and I'm not quite at the point where I can fully talk about it. But, I feel like doing something to help those battling cancer will be a passion project of mine.
For me, a passion project is a project that your heart compels you to do. It's something you feel so strongly about, you want to help to be part of a positive change.
I want to take this time to encourage you to find a cause you deem worthy and try to make a difference. Think about causes that speak to you. We are so blessed to be living life, let's be a positive light in someone's life.
Rest in Peace Daisy Lewellyn, your light will sorely be missed.
