Throughout history, there have been a lot of dynamite duos. Think about it? Where would Batman be without Robin? And the sandwhich hasn't been the same since Peanut Butter hooked up with Jelly.
And some might say that the lastest ColourPop and Kathleen Lights collab: Where the Night Is, proves they're quickly becoming one heck of a makeup dream team.
This is ColorPop and Kathleen Lights second time collaborating on a collection (the first on being Where the Light Is) and again they have created another must have collection.
There were two ways to purchase to get your hands on this collection.
You could pick up all four of the Supershock Eyeshadows ($20) and recieve the limited edition Where the Night is packaging or you could pick up the shades individually ($5/shadow). This was a ColourPop first (fingers crossed not the last).
There are also two new lippie sticks in the shades Aquarius and Taurus that have cordinating lippie pencils ($5/lippie stick, $5/lippie pencil).
I opted to get three of the four eyeshadows and being the lipstick junkie I am, I grabbed the lippie stick in Aquarius (blog post on that lippie stix coming soon).

Porter is warm burgundy with a light mix gold glitter throughout with a metallic finish. Usually you are limited in where you can place an eyeshaow with glitter in it. Because there's just about the slightest of glitter, it gives you the option to use it in the crease or as an all over lid shade.
Telepathy is a bright gold with a green undertone in an Ultra-Metallic finish. This color is probably the one I was most excited about. I think it's a shade that will really pop on a lot of different skintones and in a makeup world filled with the next "Naked Palette", it really stands out.
Weenie is a pinky rose gold in a Pearlized finish. On my skintone it pulls more pink than rose gold. There's something about this shade that screams girly and feminine. It's a shade that whether you're a neutral lover or crave color, I think you'll enjoy.

Overall, I'm loving this collection. I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of Weenie and Porter. When I want to mix it up some or feel like I'm in a rut, I can use Telepathy as my makeup secret weapon.
